Shane Emery

I am a screenwriter, director, and editor based in Los Angeles California.

I was born and raised in Harrisburg PA, where I was diagnosed with high functioning autism at a young age. After High School, I then went on to attend Drexel University's Film and Video program, where I edited several short films with a wide range of genres from drama, comedy, experimental, action, and fantasy. As a part of Drexel's Co-Op program, I worked at MATTE productions in New York City as a post-intern for six months. I also wrote and directed the award-winning short film Coming and Going, which you can watch under the "Work" tab of this site.

 

Currently, I work at Nickelodeon as a COVID-19 Monitor for the shows Fairly Odd Parents and Danger Force.

My primary goal is to work on and create films that resonate with people on a personal and emotional level.
